Itinerary Detail

Begin your African Safari Kenya and Tanzania experience with your arrival in Nairobi, the capital city of Kenya. After checking into your hotel, take some time to rest after your long flight. If time permits, explore Nairobi’s attractions, such as the Nairobi National Museum (15 USD per person) or the Giraffe Centre (15 USD per person), to get a taste of Kenya’s rich cultural and natural heritage at an extra cost.

Leave Nairobi and travel toward Lake Nakuru National Park, The first park of your African Safari Kenya and Tanzania trip. While traveling, take a little break to stop at the Rift Valley View Point and take in the beautiful views of the valley below. Continue with the journey to arrive at Sarova Lion Hill Game Lodge in time for lunch.

You leave in the afternoon for a game viewing. The Baboon Cliff, Lion Hill, and Mau escarpment are a few of the fascinating locations to explore. Lake Nakuru is renowned for its breathtaking pink flamingos and a wide variety of wildlife, including rhinos, lions, waterbucks, impalas, and leopards. After taking a game drive through the park, spend the night and night at your lodge.

After a hearty breakfast, continue your African Safari Kenya and Tanzania by being transferred to the well-known Maasai Mara National Reserve. The Maasai Mara, well-known for its yearly wildebeest migration and abundant animals, provides exciting game drives and the opportunity to view the Big Five.

You head out for an afternoon game-viewing drive in this huge and broad Reserve after lunch. Get back late in the evening to the Jambo Mara Safari Lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.

After breakfast on the fourth day of your African Safari Kenya and Tanzania tour, set out to explore the Maasai Mara with your picnic lunch boxes. Take part in game drives in the morning and afternoon to observe the captivating interactions between predators and prey. Thanks to its vast road and track network, it’s Kenya’s finest location for game viewing, with its gorgeous rolling savannah grassland. Have Lunch while admiring the hippos and crocodiles around the Mara River. Continue with the safari till 17:00 and then choose to go to the Maasai Village(20 USD per person) as an optional activity. Dinner and overnight at the lodge.

After breakfast, bid Kenya farewell as your African Safari Kenya and Tanzania take you through the Isebania border where our driver guides will assist you with the immigration process before you enter Tanzania.

The Serengeti, Tanzania’s oldest park and one of the remaining great wildlife refuges in the world, is renowned for its endless plains and abundant animals. Enjoy a wildlife drive on the way to Serengeti Serena Safari Lodge where you will have your dinner and night.

Explore the expansive Serengeti on the sixth day of your African Safari Kenya and Tanzania. After breakfast, we head out for a full day of wildlife viewing drives across the huge Serengeti plains, with our picnic lunch boxes.

The Serengeti’s scenery is especially beautiful in the early morning and sunset light. In addition to many other animals, the rolling plains and grasslands that stretch as far as the eye can see are home to the black-manned lion, savannah elephant, Cape buffalo, wildebeests, elusive leopards, cheetahs, spotted and striped hyenas, rhinos, topi, Burchell’s zebras, and Masai giraffes. Have dinner and sleep at the lodge.

African Safari Kenya and Tanzania take us on a journey to the Ngorongoro Conservation area.
After breakfast, we depart for the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. We stop at the Olduvai Gorge, one of the most important prehistoric sites in the world to learn on human evolution. We will enjoy an on-site talk on the interpretation of the gorge by the resident guide.

We arrive at Ngorongoro Serena lodge for a warm welcome, check-in then lunch. This afternoon we relax and from our lodge enjoy the breath-taking spectacular views of the crater below.
This afternoon, you may opt to visit a traditional Maasai Manyatta and experience the culture of this world-famous community. The Masai still live as they did for centuries -interact with these nomadic people and experience their way of life as you learn about their customs and traditions.

After breakfast, we drive down around 610 meters into the crater, which is teeming with wildlife and a picturesque haven, for a full day of game viewing and picnicking. The world’s biggest complete caldera, the Ngorongoro Crater, is home to a wide variety of animals that live there year-round.

The crater floor grasslands are home to prides of lions, herds of Cape buffalo, impala, Thompson gazelles, rhinos, giraffes, golden and black-backed jackals, zebras, cheetahs, leopards, and spotted hyenas.

There are few sites on world where such an enormous array of landscapes exists inside a territory this size, making it unmatched for its natural variety and breathtaking beauty. Return to your lodge in the late afternoon. Savor your dinner and stay the night as you wait the next day of your African Safari Kenya and Tanzania

After enjoying your breakfast, continue on your African Safari Kenya and Tanzania  Tarangire, where you will arrive at the Manyara Serena Lodge for lunch. This afternoon, we set out on a game-viewing drive in this region, which is home to stately eland antelopes and magnificent baobab trees, among other wildlife.

Up to 300 elephant herds search for underground streams in the Tarangire riverbed, and eland, buffalo, impala, gazelle, hartebeest, and wildebeest migrate into the lagoons in large numbers. Outside of the Serengeti, here is where wildlife is most concentrated. Head back to the lodge for dinner and overnight.

Conclude your African Safari Kenya and Tanzania adventure with departing the park after breakfast. Afterward, head to Arusha, where your safari ends. Reflect on the incredible experiences and breathtaking sights you’ve encountered over the past ten days as you prepare for your onward journey or flight home. Transfer to the Kilimanjaro International Airport for your home-bound flight.
