Our driver guide will pick you at the Airport or at your Entebbe hotel very early in the morning to transfer you to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park with lunch enroute on the way. After lunch continue with the drive arriving at Bwindi Impenetrable National Park in the evening. Check in for dinner and overnight stay.
Early morning take breakfast and be ready for a transfer to the park headquarters. You should be at the park by 8:00 am local time for gorilla trekking briefing by the rangers. It is at this time when, allocation of the gorilla family for each 8 members to trek is allocated.
If you have any specific needs or health issues or are unable to hike for a long distance, kindly communicate during this briefing so that you can be allocated a close family.
After briefing, you receive your trekking stick and start trekking to the forest for the experience. Trekking depends on where the gorilla spent their previous night, the nearer they are the faster you will see them and vice versa. However, you are only allowed to spend 1 hour around their presence as they go along with their daily lifestyle.
Take this time to enjoy this great experience as you take pictures or record with a non-flash photography camera for your memories. After 1 hour you trek back to the park headquarters where you receive a congratulatory certificate and after that drive back to your hotel. Take your lunch and relax at the hotel. Dinner and overnight at the hotel.
