3 Days Maasai Mara Safari – Budget Group Joining Kenya Safari

At 07:30, we will pick you up at the hotel or the airport in Nairobi. We will drive to Masai Mara via the Great Rift Valley, heading to the game reserve’s camp/lodge. After lunch and some relaxation, we proceed for an afternoon game drive until the African sunset.  Thereafter, we will return to camp for dinner.

After breakfast, we will have a full day game drive with packed picnic lunch provided. The reserve is well known for its black-maned lions, as well as its abundant resident wildlife. It’s one of the few places where it’s possible to see the Big Five during a morning’s game drive. Many of the cheetahs are so tame they seek shelter from the hot sun under one’s vehicle and several even climb onto the roof to get a better view of prospective prey. For the bird enthusiasts, almost 500 species have been recorded: among these 16 species of eagle, many hawks and falcons, 6 species of vultures, 8 species of storks 4 of bustard (including the Kori bustard, the world’s heaviest flying bird), and 9 species of sun-birds.After the full-day game drive, return to camp for dinner and your overnight stay.

We will have breakfast and proceed to the Masai village to dance with the Maasai people and learn more about their beautiful cultural stories on how they measure their wealth in terms of number of cattle and children, you will also learn about their hunting skills..Later drive to Nairobi with lunch en-route on the way. You’ll arrive in Nairobi in the afternoon.Upon arrival our driver will drop you off at your Nairobi hotel or at the airport to catch your flight back marking the end of you safari with Zanzi African Safaris.
