Day 01 :
Journey from Nairobi to the Masai Mara

Your adventure starts with a morning collection from your Nairobi hotel. Leave the city behind and travel towards the Masai Mara, passing through the Kenyan countryside and the dramatic scenery of the Great Rift Valley. Make a stop at a suitable viewpoint to admire the landscape and take photographs.

Continue to the reserve area, arriving around lunchtime for check-in and a meal at your accommodation. The remainder of the afternoon is available to unwind before your first wildlife excursion.

For travellers who wish to begin exploring immediately, an optional afternoon game drive can be arranged between approximately 4:00 PM and 6:00 PM. This activity costs an additional USD 200 per person and is not included in the package price.

Return to camp or lodge for dinner and your first night in the Masai Mara.

Day 02 :
Wildlife Exploration across the Masai Mara

Spend the day discovering the wildlife-rich grasslands of the Masai Mara on a full-day game drive. Following breakfast, depart with a packed lunch and explore different sections of the reserve with your guide.

The Mara provides habitat for an impressive range of African wildlife. Keep watch for lions resting in the grass, elephants crossing the plains, buffalo herds, giraffes, zebras and cheetahs. Leopard and rhino sightings are also possible, although encounters cannot be guaranteed.

Pause for a picnic lunch during the excursion before continuing your search for wildlife through the afternoon. Your guide will help identify animals and explain the area's habitats and wildlife behaviour.

Return to your accommodation later in the day to enjoy dinner and a relaxing evening.

Day 03 :
Return to Nairobi and Fly to Arusha

After breakfast, check out and begin the return journey from the Masai Mara to Nairobi. Travel through Kenya's countryside, with a stop for lunch during the drive.

On reaching Nairobi, proceed to the airport for your scheduled flight to Arusha, Tanzania. Following arrival, transfer to Njiro Legacy Hotel and settle in for the evening.

Use the remaining time to rest before the next stage of your journey, which introduces Tanzania's renowned national parks and diverse wildlife landscapes.

Flight schedules and transfer arrangements should be confirmed before departure.

Day 04 :
Arusha to Tarangire National Park Safari

After breakfast, depart Arusha and travel to Tarangire National Park for a day of wildlife viewing.

Tarangire is known for its distinctive baobab trees, extensive savannah scenery and substantial elephant populations. The Tarangire River is an important water source, particularly during the dry season, when animals gather around the remaining water supplies.

Explore the park on a game drive, looking for elephants, giraffes, zebras, antelopes and bird species among its varied landscapes.

Lunch will be served as a picnic in the park or at your lodge, depending on the confirmed arrangements. Continue your wildlife excursion before heading to your accommodation for dinner and overnight.

Day 05 :
Across Northern Tanzania to the Serengeti

Enjoy breakfast before setting off towards Serengeti National Park. The journey takes you through the scenic landscapes of northern Tanzania, with opportunities to observe wildlife as you approach the Serengeti.

Known for its vast grasslands and exceptional wildlife diversity, the park is home to lions, elephants, cheetahs, giraffes, zebras and large herds of wildebeest.

Your game-viewing opportunities will depend on the route, season and animal movements. During suitable periods, you may encounter migrating wildebeest and zebras as they travel across the wider Serengeti ecosystem.

Continue towards Engiterata Camp, enjoying wildlife viewing along the way as conditions permit. Arrive at camp for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 06 :
Serengeti Wildlife Drive and Transfer to Ngorongoro

Start the morning with an early game drive in the Serengeti, when cooler conditions can provide rewarding opportunities to observe animals in their natural surroundings.

Return for breakfast, check out and continue towards the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Depending on the route and schedule, there may be further opportunities to see wildlife while travelling out of the Serengeti.

The scenery gradually changes as you approach the Ngorongoro highlands, offering a contrast to the open plains explored earlier in the safari.

Arrive at your accommodation near Ngorongoro and settle in for the evening. Enjoy dinner and prepare for the following day's descent into the crater.

Day 07 :
Ngorongoro Crater Game Drive and Journey to Arusha

After breakfast, travel to the Ngorongoro Crater for a memorable wildlife excursion. Descend into the crater and explore its varied habitats, which support a remarkable concentration of animals.

During the game drive, look for lions, elephants, buffaloes, zebras and hippos. The crater also provides habitat for the endangered black rhino, although sightings depend on wildlife movements and luck.

Take a picnic lunch during the day's excursion before ascending from the crater and travelling towards Arusha.

Arrive in Arusha later in the day. Your main wildlife circuit through Kenya and Tanzania comes to a close, with overnight accommodation and dinner arrangements to be confirmed.

Day 08 :
Flight from Arusha to Nairobi

Enjoy breakfast before transferring to Arusha Airport for your scheduled flight to Jomo Kenyatta International Airport in Nairobi.

Upon arrival at JKIA, the safari arrangements covered by this itinerary end. Travellers connecting to international flights should confirm their departure times and allow sufficient time for airport procedures.

Your journey has taken you from Kenya's famous savannahs to Tanzania's diverse national parks, offering a memorable introduction to the wildlife and landscapes of both countries.
